I posted recently about making a run for a pair of rabbits I'm adopting. I mentioned then that I'm useless at carpentry - the number of injuries and the mess I've made getting to this point proves that.

Below are some pictures of the run (I made) and the hutch (I bought.) I need some way of joining the two, but not permanently - I need the rabbits to be able to get to and from the run during the day, but be able to close them into the run at times so I can clean the hutch out.

Suggestions? They're turning up tomorrow, so I'm quite keen to get it done sooner rather than later. I've currently got a 4/5 foot length of 18mm MDF (which could be varnished) and a few feet of treated timber, and a fair bit of mesh. If any solutions involve using those instead of another run to TP that'd be handy.

Help? Please?

Thanks
Chris

I'd join the run to the hutch with timber framework, leaving a slot for a guillotine-style divider that you can raise and lower.

Sounds sensible, why I hadn't thought of that already I don't know.
