Measuring for carpet grippers?

I'm recarpeting my entire house and I've been looking on the net for carpet grippers as they#re a lot cheper online. My only problem is I'm not sure how much I'd need. Is there an easy way to work out the amount you need if you know the total square meterage (126m2 in this case) or is it a case of adding up all the wall measurements?

If you divide by 4 it should be about right, but best to measure around each room to get it bang-on. Besides, will you be carpeting the kitchen/bathroom.
