Just a heads up to any alarm fitters that don't already know and those that have alarms that use the text dialler facility and require a message centre number.

It is common place on the Galaxy G2-20 to use the telephone number 07958879889 to be used as the 'message centre number'. Googling this number will show you this and has about 4 pages on the matter. I expect this number is probably used on other systems as well.

However over the last few days it has become apparent that this number has stopped working. This will mean that any alarms using this number, that text out on activation, will be unable to do so.

How long this will go on for, of if this number has become obsolete i have no idea.

We are now chasing up customers as quick as possible to change the number to 07860980480. I obviously take no responsibility giving you this number as was given to me by somebody else but this seems to be working atm. Therefore I strongly suggest if you use the text dialler option, you contact your alarm company asap and ask their advice about the 'message centre number' they use.

If you dial this number a voice says you have dialled an incorrect number therefore won't work.
