Could anyone recommend a supplier for some bifolding doors? Window/Door type companies always seem to have some sort of offer or other and I'm having difficulty seeing the wood for the trees!

Mail me Deejay if you want some pointers. I'd be glad to help.

Schuco are the Rolls Royce (the RS120) of bi-fold doors! smile

We used a company recommended by friends - www.framesdirectltd.co.uk
Aluminium, sprayed in a RAL colour, heat reducing solar glass, excellent fitting and service.
They were not the cheapest but far from the most expensive either. Speaking to the owner Paul gave me a lot of confidence.
You'll have done your research - avoid the places in Bradford and the midlands who can knock out a set of doors in a few days. From feedback I found, they're cheap for a reason.

pics of mine in this thread - I'd recommend them without reservation.

We used http://www.i-d-systems.co.uk/ for ours. Various companies import Sunflex doors and they came up with the best quote.

Been thinking about putting some of these doors into our living room, but I did wonder about how secure they are? We have a conservatory at one end and it has the 5 lever lock door, so I feel that's good enough not to bother closing the internal 'patio' door to keep it cool in summer when we're at work. I was just concerned that adding bifolds might reduce the security, or am I worrying about nothing?

In either case the above links will be helpful to me too, so thanks to all those posters.
