OK guys, I need to call on your expert knowledge here. My other half has just found this mass of creatures in our water butt. They are just over a cm long with long tails. They are all massed together like some weird orgy, what the hell are they? eek

Yes I think I can now confirm that they are Rat Tailed Maggots, truely unpleasent looking things yuck
