Paint Effects

I am just about to repaint the house and rather than use plain emulsion on the interior walls was wondering if anybody knows where I can source some info on any unusual or eye catching paint or effects that I can use. All ideas or suggestions appreciated , no matter how off the wall ( pardon the pun )...... Thanks PAT

There's a suede-effect paint (Dulux or Crown I think) which could give your walls that extra zing.

My neighbour has suede paint, looks good.

Sponge painting may or not turn out ok, it could end up like a large Blot Test. It needs to be completly random which is more difficult than it may seem.
