Having had some issues with a well known Estate Agent in the past with its nice offices and smooth talking criminals, I thought I would take a different angle to choosing a letting Agent, but how do you work out the good, the bad and the dirty?

Is there a league table of Agents somewhere on the public Domain that can tell you who is who, who are the biggest, the best and worst performers...

There are loads of them in my area, Foxtons, Keatons, Winkworth, Churchill, Bairstow, Halifax, Daniel David, and numerous others that have popped up.

No contest, go for an independent. Brendons 020 8998 6500 ask for Arabella and mention PistonHeads and she'll do a deal (maybe).

I will be the landlord once I find a trustworthy agent.

Okay, good tip, thanks. Now I need one for Stratford, East London, any recommendations?
