Specifically between the paved bricks. You know, moss and the odd grass tuft?

Currently I have Mrs Smoke on her hands and knees scraping out the moss with a patio knife. Not my idea, I would have just 'watered' it with weedkiller, but she is OCD.

Anyway, once she has cleared the offending moss, what's the best thing to keep it away or at least severely retard it's return?

I thought about Jeyes fluid once in a while but that makes the patio smell like a public toilet.
