SKY Magic Eye Not Working

Since I had a new SKY + box installed? Any ideas?

Do I need a new one (had this one with my old sky box for about eight years)? Or do I need to do something to make it work?

No, you need to enable the power feed on the RF2 socket (you do have it plugged into RF2, right?)

Services - 4 - 0 - 1 - Select

Then I can't recall the precise name, but "RF Sockets" or something similar, then enable power on RF2, save and exit. The light on the eye should now be on.

Note that RF1 is not powered, you MUST use RF2 for the eye.

Its also worth noting that a sky remote controld wont work with a sky+ box so if you have upgraded from sky to sky+ you will need a sky+ remote for your second room.. otherwise ^^^^^^what he said^^^^ he got it bang on.

Not true. Obviously there won't be any Sky+ capabilities, but the remote can be set to work the box:

The sequence is:

* TV
* Hold Yellow+Select until LED flashes twice
* 0
* Select
* Sky

To revert back, enter this sequence again but press the "1" button instead of "0".
