The tap in the kitchen requires the strength of the Incredible Hulk to turn it off. I guess it's the washer needing to be replaced but its a combined hot and cold tap not seperater units,so the question is how do i get to the washer!!.

it does not have the liitle H/C disc on top which would normally come of to allow access!!

Any ideas?

Hi.

Without much idea to what it's like, here are some random thoughts on how it might come off.

Top pulls off.

Hidden allen key/ screw head around the back out of 'normal' sight.

A cap flicks up via a small slot head screwdriver.

Spanner flats?

Need to see an image!

You're right guys i didn't give you much info and a picture would have helped..
But I managed to fix it, I had to turn the bit below the tap which allowed me then to take it apart and replace the washer. The taps did not have the little disc on top to remove.

Anyway the jobs done and everyone's happy now thanks for your replies.
