I'm thinking we will probably do it in the next week or so as the weather looks distinctly 'autumny' from now on!

Heating is set to come on when the temp drops below 21oC.

It's down to 17/18oC upstairs, but downstairs is still at 21oC, so it hasn't tripped on yet.

The excitement of not knowing what morning it will come on is killing me wink

Don't be silly. Windows only get closed when it rains(or when I go out).

I find it hard to sleep without my window open - I need the fresh air, I live in the attic which has no central heating at all. gets a bit cold in winter but nothing a warm duvet can't fix!

Not yet - I'm holding firm.

I did however sleep with a T-shirt on last night, so it won't be long.

My house is so cold that we open the fridge to warm the kitchen up in mid winter!

OH comes back from Finland today, so I suppose I will have to close the windows and turn the heating on now frown

Im not a fan of heating and like fresh air... luckily she doesnt know how to work the boiler so it only comes on for a small amount of time and then somehow manages to turn itself off, so all is good till she finds the manual.

Not yet. Surprisingly, the missus hasn't started whingeing yet, but it can surely only be a matter of days away...

I read that as living in the Arctic! hehe

I never shut my bedroom window in the winter(rain permitting). Does make getting out of bed in the morning more difficult as the temp difference is vast!

Heating doesn't go on until it's below 0! LPG is too expensive to heat an old, insufficiently insulated house.

Did get two cubic metres of firewood delivered though so had the log burner going over the weekend.

No heating as such but we have been having a coal fire on the colder nights for the past month!. Can't beat a glass of red infront of a roaring fire.
