Got a quote to replace 6 existing radiators while our boiler is being changed.

Thinking 1k for this (supply & fit of rads/valves only) is a tad on the dear side.

Spec is

1 off - 750mm x 1100mm DDF

5 off - 750mm x 800mm DDF

Any comments

Are the rads you have convectors? If not then I'd reduce the height to 600mmm which is the size manufacturers are most competitive on.
Bear in mind that radiator list prices are cloud-cuckoo. Depending on make I get 80%+ off....
