What ios the difference between 'Guide price' and 'Offers in the region of' and 'offers around'

None whatsoever, they put whatever crap they feel like depending on how much the people selling the house are dreaming on what they think its worth.

Edit to add in my experience of the last 9 months trying to buy somewhere you find this sort of crap on places that wont sell...

Guide price could be that they are using the auction copy.

If the place is 'moments' from the train station, how far is it in normal-person speak?

Moments is a really bad way to try and express time or distance, even for Estate Agents.

I'd hazard a guess as 2-3 minutes in a car.

We were bookled to see a place which has 'close to the station'; it was 3 feet from the track.

Many places in north Cornwall are advertised as being x miles from Boscarne Junction which is very nice except for the almost non existent service due to the railway actually being private and running only tourist traffic.
