Are these subject to VAT?

So when they quote a figure of 12% is it actually more like 14%?

If it doesn't mention VAT then asssume it's ex-VAT. Of course you could always ask them smile

They will usually be quoted net of VAT so you'll have to pay 12% + VAT.

Fair point; the legal view versus the slippery marketing one.



I think now that the OPs question was just a general one, ie 'is it VAT-able?' - and yes it is.
