Chaps,

Got Sky coming to install the dish etc in a week or so, I want the dish on a chimney stack so that it's pretty well hidden. It's easily accessible with ladders from the back of the house and pointing in the right direction for the satellite, not necessary to get on the roof at all. But it is quite high (4 story) and I have visions of much teeth sucking etc and them wandering off.

I have told the lady on the phone from sky and she said it'll be fine with a 2 man crew, anyone got experience of this?

I think they are ok with it, they just charge you extra.

Make sure they've got it booked as a 'special heights' job.

As if they haven't the engineer will look at it and walk away.
