After reading lots of posts and discussions on here I did a rough price up of the underfloor heating system i'd like to put into our self build.

After nothing but praise about Heatmiser I used their system for control.

Downstairs consists of 1 lounge, 1 kitchen diner which is open plan with the front hall, 1 utility cupboard + toilet.

Pipework + Manifold (80 square metres) = £679
Wiring centre = £70
3 Manifold control valves = £69
3 digital thermostats = £177
Central control panel = £293
Text message control unit = £115 (A luxury but I love gadgets)

Upstairs consists of 3 bedrooms, 1 en-suite and the main bathroom.

Pipework + Manifold (80- square metres) = £679
Wiring centre = £70
5 Manifold control valves = £115
5 digital thermostats = £295

I would like to have 1 extra feed taken from the ground floor manifold for the garage underfloor heating but as it stands I am only costing up the house.

So apart from the boiler and wood burner with back boiler plus the pumps it comes to £2500.

I need to do more research on the boiler etc but am hoping that the above is a reasonably good price for a 160 square metre house?

Dave!
