How much is it worth (Decking)?

Hi,

To make room for a conservatory we now need to dispose of our decking but have no idea what it's worth.

Bog standard decking with handrails approx 4m X 5m in reasonable condition.

Some friends are interested and I want to charge them a fair price. Any ideas?

Personally, I'd give it to them providing they had saved me the time of having to remove & dispose of it.

yup likewise, not worth much at all, why not ask them to take u for a curry or something, then you all have a fun night out and everyone is happy

I did wonder that.

We do have an open fire but I've no idea what the wood has been treated with.

It's not been treated in the 3-4 years I#ve lived here.

Safe to burn? Any good to burn?

It'll be fine to burn, but it might 'spit' quite a lot on the fire, if its in a burner then no problem.

I'd let the neighbour take it away in exchange for a beer or curry as suggested, then everyones happy.
