It's easy enough if the corners of your walls are square (90 degrees) as well as being square to the ceiling and floor. You'll need very little tile adhesive and some tile spacers and probably some card (cereal packets are ideal) if your tiles aren't exactly the same size.
I usually start on the bath (on spacers) and work up from there, and using battens to continue where the bath stops. Then work up to the bath level. Obviously if you are fitting the bath, check that the water drains away before tiling. In theory the tub of the bath should be lower at the tap end but check anyway.
Also use a large spirit level to make sure the tiles ate flat. Some people only use their eyes.
Pack the grout in as much as you can, otherwise the grout will shrink and leave a line down the centre. For this reason it might be best to use a smaller spacer (3mm). You can buy a tool to scrape away the excess grout, but using a wet finger gets a better finish imo.
Best of luck. You've nothing to lose from giving a line or two above the bath a go. If it goes wrong they should come off easily enough, and the grout can be scraped/chiselled off.
