Can go and kiss my hoop!!

Over Christmas I went through all of my bills and spent a bit of time on price comparison websites and found that my gas & electric bill was seriously expensive for what I was using. I took out a green-energy dual fuel package about 18 months ago, one with carbon-offsetting and all that eco-ste. The nature lover in me thought it would be a decent thing to do.

I've spent the last 25 minutes on the phone to them and instead of going through the immense testicle torture that is swapping fuel providers, I've swapped to an online billing tariff and I'm going to save £1428 per year.

ONE THOUSAND, FOUR HUNDRED AND TWENTY EIGHT fkING POUNDS A YEAR!!!

I don't exepct they've planted many trees for that either.

That will buy me a st load of v-power to teach those tree-hugging-hippy-lentil-munching-meat-dodging-eco-bds a lesson for ripping me off.

Now I just need to get the mileage allowance increased on the TVR insurance.

So you used a price comparison website to find the best deal, then found you could get it £1428 cheaper than that?

ATEOTD 'green' = more expensive, period.

The best savings that I was shown on the price comparison sites were about £5-600 per year, but the tariff I've moved onto was better still. My monthly DD drops by £119 per month.

What sizes industrial estate do you own mate???? yikes

I don't even PAY that much altogether for gas and electric for our 3 bed semi. In fact I probably pay HALF that, were I to actually add it all up.
