It has been in our garden for a few days, can anybody id it for me?
Looks like a black bird, but it has a red breast and white throat. it is a bit bigger than a black bird and doesn't have a yellow beak.

Dont tell me its a black bird.

Balls, our resident 'twitcher' hasn't made it in today because of the snow. He'd have rattled the answer off in a jot. Not much help to you, sorry.

Now technically Rich its a Turdus merula of the Thrush family, sometimes called a Ouzel Cock and resident of the British Isles but you had to go and state the obvious!;) Mark
