Yes it's the coldest spell of weather the UK has experienced in some time, so Penny-lope thought she'd go and buy herself a 2nd hand BBQ biggrin

Got it, plus a full bottle of gas for £30. Not bad considering it would cost me £50 alone if I went and bought the gas new.

Anyway what I am wondering is.....Can you get paint suitable for BBQ's? The lid is a little messy with spilt paint, and I wouldn't mind having a go doing it up if there is such a product. I mean would fireplace paint do the trick? As I say it is just the lid, which in reality will not be exposed to the majority of the heat.

Thanks

Don

Pen, you can buy Hammerite BARBEQUE Heat-proof paint in an aerosol. It looks like it's just what you need.

I've used other Hammerite products which have been excellent but I haven't tried this one, myself. But it's clearly intended for what you want to do...
