Household Electrical Problem?
Discussion
I recently installed some new lights as part of a new kitchen. Over the sink area I have a 4 way spotlight thing. There are four lamps on a bar, each of which are 40w G9 halogens. The one on the end has blown four times in three months (I haven't created a hot spot on the bulbs, and the bulbs have been purchased from two different sources). Does this signify a dodgy light or something more sinister (and expensive)?

OK, thanks guys. I'm reassured that I don't necessarily need a complete rewire. But light bulbs do blow in my house alarmingly regularly. Sadly, the energy saving ones (you know, the ones that don't actually give off any light) last for bloody ages, but incandescents last about two or three months.
Halogens (other than this one kitchen buld) are good though.
