Good find, but it's a bit on the small side. Still, a bargain at only 51 bucks.

Correct. Preferably made out of a used oil drum cut in half (thoroughly cleaned out of course!).

For the 278th time - OPEN FIRE/COALS/WOOD flame is AGAINST THE LAW in summer in most of that country and especially in that part of that country.

Lets not do the gas vs coals thing AGAIN - eh?

Except to say:*

Gas is right. Gas in convenient. Gas is the shortest route to what youre trying to achieve. The quick, convenient facility to do your cooking outdoors. Its simple as that. We dont want culinary mastery or michelin stars or hints of aged oak. We want to cook our meat and onions outside with a cold one.

Any arguments to the contrary are wrong and missing the point.

BTW - I have one exactly the same as the one in the OP here in Bournemouth biggrin

* a subject close to my heart - I couldnt help it.

An old 200SX... trailer it to the location. You can sit inside it.

Still doesn't make it a "real mans" BBQ though does it?
