A bit of a vague one, but the other day I noticed a drip coming from the bottom of my Creda electric shower - but didnt think too much about it.

However this morning I noticed the drip was a bit more regular, being in a bit of a hurry I didnt have time to investigate.

Its had a fairly mild life - about 4 years old, wasnt anything special at the time - just a £150 homebase job.

When electric showers leak from the body does it mean they are on the way out? or can you get seal kits?

Other than the leak it seems to be working as per normal.

I had a seal kit years ago for a Mira. They didn't even charge me for it; I just rang their technical support and they posted it out. Creda appliances tend to be pretty good in terms of serviceability so I wouldn't expect any problems sourcing parts.

Thanks Gangland - I'll give them a try tomorrow. I will carefully inspect it tonight.

When the inner glass door on my Creda cooker shattered they replaced it free of charge - it was long out of date on the guarantee too! Top-notch I'd say.

Its not as bad as I thought - after closer inspection its just the main water feed at the bottom thats developed a slight leak... its a bloomin awkward 90 degree connection though.

These things don't have a reverse thread by any chance do they? After trying to tightening it up a bit with my fingers it seemed to drip more!
