Bit of help please..........

Hi all

I was putting up a bracket for our Punchbag today. On advice i got here i used Rawlplugs



Problem is as i was tightening the last bloody one i noticed it was not getting any tighter, turns out it broke in the hole. Now i have a 14mm hole in my wall and missing one fixing on a side.

Am i right in thinking if i undo the bolts then it will mean starting all over again as the bolts cant be put back in? What are my options?

I'd be happy to reuse those in a non-safety critical situation like this. If it was holding up a climbing hold or something maybe not, but this isnt like that.

How did the one come to break?

I didnt think the bolt would re locate in the nut if i took it out.

I have no idea how it broke, after i pulled the bolt out i looked n the hole and the casing was in a few bits, collapsed onto itself.
