Would be nice. This one's just around the corner from my house, I'm quite jealous:

The fees for that one are going to be rather high.........

But for 5 million I reckon there are a fair few nicer houses out there.

personally, i can't imagine anything more nouveau than that, why don't they just get some of those ebony figurines and be done with it. Approaching an acre you say - be still my giddy heart.

The only saving grace was the staircase, that is lovely

Greg

ps.

now that looks lovely, it's just a shame that it is hemmed in so tightly by grotty little houses wink
Still, it would be a nice view for them. Every cloud and all.

I can't see the pics but from the description it sounds like the one below that's been on the market for a while:

Just down the road from me.

This is George Harrison's place around the corner from mine, complete with 10 - 12 acres of gardens!

It was up for sale about 10 years ago for £15 million!

Interesting concept. Would scare the crap out of the dog or if you are pissed out of your head smile

But to be honest, the first thing I thought of was 'glass table' evil

laugh Mine's on the other side of the village wink

They've got quite a nice view out of the front as it dips down into a valley. It's all fields and woods on the other side.

Totally agree. Have a look at real estate porn thread for some proper classy places.

As for that sitting room. Glass table does spring to mind - yet also, why would someone think scratchable glass was a good idea for a floor?

The house the OP linked to isn't to my taste at all. Much better out there for the money IMO.
