Garage storage. Show me yours.

This weekend sees the start of operation garage sort out. It's a shambles to put it bluntly...

So i shall be requiring some storage. I plan to be very ruthless and throw out stuff i haven't used for years.

So, show me what you have, i need inspiration.

B&Q kitchen units work well for me. A little cheaper than the posh stuff advertised in car magazines. Oh, and paint the floor (seal concrete first).

I did mean to seal the floor after we bought it and before we moved in, but alas it never happened.

To give you an idea of what i'm up against, here is some 'current' shots of the garage in 'full' mode.

The problem, we at least partl is the amount of crap we have..

As there's only a motorbike to house, I'd put 2-3 foot deep shelving racking along the back wall, and then 1-2 foot wide shelving/racking along one or both sides. There's plenty of room, it just looks a mess because it's all at floor level.

Often find whole kitchens going for peanuts on ebay - if you're not fussy how pretty it looks you could pick up a bargain.

Kitchen units isn't a bad idea.

The wood in the pics is for a work bench when i eventually have space for it.

Just kidding, I've got to do mine at some point soon as well so I'll be watching this thread with interest.

Currently you can make out the cheap plastic shelving down the right hand side of the second photo, which is quite good but not tidy enough for me so I'm trying to decide what to use instead. I'm thinking cheap kitchen units for the workshop area down the end with plenty of room for a car as well.

I've got a lot of work and it's tough because my old garage looked like this when I'd done it:
