We're hoping to replace our collection of scabby freezers with a mid sized chest freezer.

Can anyone recommend a good supplier that will deliver? I'd quite like to buy a decent brand rather than an own brand model.

Also, it's only going in the shed and ISTR that there are companies that sell cosmetically damaged items etc.

I use the auction section on Comet's web site, and very often when not in a rush to purchase, no rented properties in need etc., I have bought some real bargains, washing machines, freezers, fridges etc. etc.

Are you anywhere near Bristol? We have one that's going to be put on freecycle as soon as our new upright freezer is delivered. It is a bit cosmetically challenged as I use it as a workbench in the garage. Email me if you're interested.

Blimey, it's like buses! I am in Bristol (although home is Dorset and I'd struggle to move anything on my own).

OH went to our local recycling shop where they sell all sorts of second hand things and they had a big whirlpool freezer which he managed to get for £50 delivered so we're sorted for now (which is good as the puppy is back at the veterinary hospital and the insurance money has run out)

Thanks for the offer, it would have been perfect, I'm sure you'll get your arm snapped off on freecycle.
