OH has come up with the idea like the following picture.



I think it would be the bathroom from hell.

In principle, I have no issue with it.

That picture though, well, the white one's look ok ;-)

I've just done a similar one in travertine, all flush with no grout gaps. Looked very good.

Did my upstairs bathroom in travertine tiles floor and nearly all the walls (apart from a small area round a window and a big mirror). I think it looks great, but the one in the picture in the first post is certainly an aquired taste to say the least...

Srry, but that's hateful.

All in one type of stone, fine - I have floors and walls of one bathroom in Jerusalem stone, which is cream, and pretty understated (with the odd cool looking fossil to be seen here and there)

But that white/peach mess in your photo would make me want to kill kittens.

Just to clarify..... You have laid a trav floor by butt joining them? In a bathroom? Your house or someone elses?
