Solar powered led garden lights
Discussion
We have some solar powered LED gargen lights which stick into the ground and they are utter crap. Half barely work and those which do are dimmer than a glowworm's arse. Were bought from Argos so should have known really.
Can anybody recommend good quality lights which looks well, are bright and reliable?
Thank you!

I have just bought some from B&Q which were on special at £19.98 for 10 and they change colour - stick in teh ground ones. Look really great at night but don't know if they will last long.
They won't last!! If they are anything like B&Q's normal "10 for 20 quid" lights, I've bought a set each year for the past 5 years!! They are basically disposable lights! They last a few months (at best) over the summer then they go in the bin!!JuniorD said:

I had the same experience (same lights probably). Can anybody recommend good quality lights which looks well, are bright and reliable?

The first set, I think 3 out of the eight worked at all, and two of those lost their charge after 1 hour.
Swapped them for a second set, of which only one functioned at all.
I didn't bother with a third set.

t. Better to think of them as a one-off thing (like a £15 gazebo).
