Hi Folks

After a bit of advice from an electrical expert.

In my kitchen I have a double light switch, that controls the main light and used to control the under cabinet ligting.

When the under cabinet lighting got ditched, the wires were taped up and plastered behind the wall.

So the question is, can I replace the double switch with a single and just tape up the other wires in the socket?

Cheers

Can't see why not,as long as you know what you're doing.

Yup! Just be careful as the old switch-line will probably still be live.

I would recommend you get a spark in to ensure the old supply was properly disconnected.
