Cuprinol Fence Sprayers. The bloke over the road has used it to spray his picket fence that god awful orange colour and it doesn't even look that good. What really annoys me is he has also sprayed the entire pavement outside his house orange, his grass orange and even a little pile of dog poo that was in his garden orange.

Plus it was windy so my windows have got little flecks of orange on it and so has my neighbours car along with most of the cars in the street. Thank god my recently pro polished car was in the garage otherwise he would be forking out another 200 quid to have it redone.

What's wrong with spending half a day with a brush and a tub of preservative its not like he's busy, he spends most of his time sitting on his fat arse watching the TV.

One of my mates had his white lotus transformed into a newcastle shirt by his neighbour and one of those spray thingy's.Luckily he is quite easy going and let neighbours insurance company pay for it to be detailed.

When I worked for BMW the dealer Aston dealer next door put a new fence up and had some lad with a roller paint it white. It was a fairly windy day and about half of the used BM's were splattered in white dots. That was the most expensive white fence in the UK at the time.

I use a spray gun to paint the fence every year or two. The best bit is that, unlike a roller or brush, you don't end up with gloopy drips on the reverse side that your moaning oap neighbour wants sorting out.

My neighbour used a brush/roller to do the front of his house and still managed to get paint on my car, , could have just asked me if I minded moving the car would have taken all of 30 seconds.

I bought one of those sprayers to do my sheds last year, ended up using a brush, it was bloody useless (it was a Focus own brand one though)

My car got covered with globlets of mixed cement the other week from the cemen mixer being used by the workmen building the neighbours patio. They sad i shouldnt have parked the car there whilst they were working. I asked how I was supposed to know they were working there when I left for work before they arrived, and got back after they left.

They werent impressed when I said I'd be billing them if it didn't come off, fortunately it did.

Could be worse, a lot worse. I was rebuilding the engine on my car in my dad's garage, I got about halfway through so the engine was in bits - head off, pistons sat on the side and I came back to find the neighbor had 3 tons worth of sand delivered and the wind had blown a huge amount under the garage door and all over my engine parts.
Everything was covered in oil and sand and took hours and hours to clean but not before I had to hoover every square inch of the garage and ask him to put a tarp over his bloody sand.

I have to hold my hands up to doing this. To my own car though.

I parked it a reasonable distance away but still managed to cover my car in microscopic brown dots.

T-cut and a lot of swearing sorted it out.

Bought by idiots who think they are a good idea to make an utter hash of an otherwise simple job.

A big brush will do the job better and probably faster when you factor in the set up - clean up times

^^^ Well, call me an idiot.

However, I fully expected exactly this problem, so we lifted all the fences individually, put them flat on the ground, sprayed them there (which was an absolute piece of cake), then lifted them back into place.

No dots on any neighbour's anything.

It was a million times easier than using a brush, which we had to on a couple of panels that had ivy growing on the neighbour's side.
