Need some advice. I have almost no water pressure from the cold tap in the bathroom and only a dribble from the hot. The water pressure is as normal in the kitchen. I'm thinking it's the taps?? Can't think of any other reason? It's a ground floor one bedroom flat with electric water heating if that makes any difference, but the fact the kitchen is ok leads me to taps?? It's a flat I own but rent out so can't really be sure if the flow/pressure has been diminishing or has just stopped?? Any thoughts??

The kitchen tap is fed direct from the mains, your hot and cold bathroom taps will likely be fed from a storage tank,so you need to locate that.

A house I had suddenly had airlocks in the cold taps in the bathroom, it turned out that when the bath tap was on, the incomimg water was full of air, this was going back down the outlet, and airlocking.

A piece of hose to divert the incoming water to the corner of the tank allowed the air to escape before it could get down the outlet.

(Or someone could have messed with the valves?)

Job done!

It was the taps. The girl in the flat didn't want to make a fuss and she's been without water in the bathroom for a couple of months!! They were all seized up with scale. £14.99 from B&Q for a couple of cheapo taps, hey presto, she can brush her teeth again!! Lol.
