Glo-Worm 30cxi Combi Boiler Leak from plastic component
Discussion
This plastic part has sprung a tiny (almost invisible) leak.
I've read elsewhere that glo-worm may replace this for free as its a design fault. I'm calling them on Monday.
I've tried to fix it with some glue and a tiny piece of metal for now, water to the boiler is swtiched off too so i'm without hot water and heating for now.

I had that same boiler and it was fine for years but then I got a small fault, then another and eventually I had the damn thing ripped out and a new boiler put in, once the 30cxI starts to misbehave it seems to get a taste for it.
I started off with a leak on a little pipe and ended up looking at a new printed circuit board all within a week, the plumber/heating engineer I had round told me on the first visit that I would be better off getting shot of it.
The new Worcester Bosch thing seems much better, heats the house quicker and the hot water is hot on demand all the time unlike the 30cxi which would choose when I had hot water at random !
