Went round 3 garden centres on Sunday looking for one of these

But couldn't find one. It's like an Ivy and was growing up a fence. I accidentally chopped it down and want to replace it like ofr like (neighbours plant....oops!)

Any ideas what it is and where I can get one from?

Looks like one of the verigated Hedera (Ivy) varieties. There is a huge variety of them. Try a google image search

ETA Persian ivy looks close. Try the crocus website

Cheers, close but no cigar.

The ivy you mentions doesn't have the little black flowery bits. Ideally I want to replace the plant like for like as I dropped a bit of a boswolock and removed this plant in a mad gardening frenzy, not realising it wasn't actually mine.

That'll be because the one you cut down is large and mature and the other pics are probably of smaller and not so mature ones - cigar due.

How hard did you chop it down? Did you dig out every bit of root? I had this scumbag in my garden and no attempt at killing it worked. Unless you've gone really crazy, it'll be back soon enough!
