Wood Polish - dark solid wood table

Hi,

I recently bought a rather nice dark solid wood table that has a little bit of lustre as standard but is not polished finish. It has a naturally 'distressed' finish however I want to ensure the surface is as protected as possible whilst being able to minimise the appearance of any imperfections that may manifest themselves from general day to day usage.

Any ideas on a polish? I have some of that Lord Sheraton stuff but I am looking for something even more specific perhaps that has colour to 'mark' any imperfections.
