Anyone know if there is anything you can do about a complete numpty that insists on parking at the entrance to our road every day - even though he lives in next road? he half parks on the verge and has made a right mess of the grass verge. He ignores all requests not to park there and also parks it so it is a hazard when you come round the corner as the back end is normally sticking out.

Is there any point contacting the local council or just let his tyres down?

makes me sound like a right victor meldrew, but the plonker has a large drive but doesn't park on it because they have 4 cars and that would involve moving one every now and again

What would happen is someone 'accidentaly' dropped a load of tacks where he parks and he got a puncture or two?

2. Its only a boggo imprezza and really ain't that special

feckwit!!

Sounds like he is parking illegally. It is an offence to park within (I think it is) 15 feet of a road junction.

Who owns the verge? If it’s on highways land (publically maintained) then the local highways maintenance department should know about the damage caused to it.

Exactly what I was thinking.

Our local council will send round parking wardens on scooters or PCSO's to sort problems like this out - I assume he's parked illegally if on a corner. Just keep phoning them every time he parks there and make a nuissance of yourself.

We managed to get a HGV towed from our little street, which is no easy task I can assure you.

Large rocks placed on the verge seem popular in many places.

I might be completely and utterly wrong, but I thought it was illegal to park on the kerb?

It is an offence, unless there is a sign specifically saying you can.

Thought so. OP, just report his consistent breaking of the law to your local traffic enforcement folk. thumbup

Going on what I have since searched I think the offence carries a £100 fine.
