How to stop a Cat spraying

So my brother has a problem , he has a boy cat ( neutered) who is 9 years old and his daugher has a girl (neutered)cat about 2 years old they do not get on .

All was ok but recently there seems to be a new cat on the block who is always hanging around and who will jump in the window and eat all their food .

The boy cat is now spraying piss all over the place in and out of the house , how the feck does he stop this ?

had a similar problem because my cats weren't sticking up for themselves. super soakers worked ok, lemon juice did ok for a while.

best solution - getting dogs!

You catch the offending cat and tie a note to its collar that says 'If you don't get this cat neutered, we will...'

- ie the owners need to be responsible and get its nuts off.

We had this when one of our two lads got skittled by a car leaving the other to maintain their territory. We tried everything including Feliway sprays and plug-ins but eventually had to rehome him. The shock of the move plus a new (smaller) territory did the trick and he's as happy as can be.

I understood OP's boy cat is already neutered and is the one spraying.

I did hear somewhere that to keep foxes away it is considered that if you yourself piss around your boundary it will keep them away, may work for cats too????????
