Today I extended a knee high brick wall by about 10 feet as part of a raised flowerbed.
I used old concrete posts on prepared ground (to get rid of them and to save bricks) as it will be hidden by earth. So I was working off a less than perfect base when it came to the bricks.
One row of bricks, trying to get them level followed by a top row of soldiers.
I now need to buy brick acid as I have more cement on the brick than in the joints.
Spot the try? Didn't work but it's good enough for the area of the garden it's in.
Conclusion; it is black magic and brickies are worth every penny!
Shame that you can't get one when you want!
