Would large tiles look funny in an average sized kitchen? Our kitchen is roughly 2m x 3m and we're thinking of going for 60cmx60xm porcelain tiles, but don't want to make the mistake of going for large tiles if they don't suit the space.

Cheers

personally i think it could look *better* using a smaller tile. We used a tile which is approx 30x50cm and laid them in a 'brick' style pattern

I can assist on this one.. I have huge tiles in my bathroom 60x60 and it doesnt look out of place, they are porcilean, but look like stone and are very good. Bathroom is 1.5m x 2.2m and it doesnt overwhelm it.

I would have the same again in my kitchen when I get it done and that is 3m x 3m...

I have some links to a company that can supply these tiles (only one of 3 in the country) and at a decent rate, to get an idea of the style look here:

I have the gold ones.

If you want I can dig out the bathroom pics and post them so you can see the tiles in action?

I think small tiles make spaces look smaller and more fussy.

Not being a great fan of tiles I went for glass:
