Anyone know the cheapest place to buy a shed? Want something about 8*6 - or big enough to fit my motorbike in. Should be relativity secure, or at least enough to deter people walking past. No windows needed, just cheap and cheerful.

If you're reasonably capable at diy stuff, have you thought about building one yourself?

Concrete raft, some 100mm blocks, 4x2 timbers and profile sheet for the roof. Won't cost that much more and will last longer and be more secure...

Have you tried something crazy like searching t'internet for 'Cheap Sheds'? Failing that your local classifieds?

Cheapest I found was about £180 from Focus DIY. Probably not secure enough for a bike though unless you had it chained to a floor anchor etc.

most insurers wont class a timber shed as a locked building, so it may as well be outside...

concrete sectional shed is not pretty, but at least meets insurance requirements (with a decent lock of course)
