Not the lawn carpet, the mind altering substance, not of course that anyone here would countenance such a thing. Anyhow, here's the thing. I caught one of those Police Motorway Interceptor Cops with Camera Wearing Drug Dogs type shows and there was the usual scrote getting his front door smashed in and being caught with a hydroponic set up and half a dozen scraggly plants in the attic. So that made me wonder, is this stuff not capable of growing outside in the garden by itself or even in the greenhouse?

Yes it is very much capable of growing there but A) Your neighbours will probably be curious about your new horticultural endeavours and B) If the conditions are not correct (heat, light, humidity) you won't get as high a yield.

A friend of a friend successfully grew a plant in amongst the tomatos in his greenhouse. I don't know how you would hide the smell though unless you got a filter, or would one plant not be too bad? My neighbour has lined his greenhouse with bubble wrap and you can't see what's in there..
