No, she has no idea when I asked her. She planted them too! This is the start of the flower.

Some of the spikey fruits have been there for at least a month and haven't changed shape or got any bigger. I was waiting for it to grow into a cucumber shape or something similar but nothing. Maybe I should break one open?

By looking at the flower, I'd say its a Datura (Angel's Trumpet). The spiky thing is the resulting seed pod.
