Looking for a new shed. Is a metal one better in the long run than a cheapy wooden shed?

Only going to be used to store a couple of bikes and some garden chairs. Will condensation be a problem?

A friend brought one a few years back to store his plumbing gear in. He searched a few places and ended up getting one from Argos in the end.

Wooden sheds look better but he needed the extra security.

A bit more secure perhaps but it will suffer condensation. But if you fit a good lock a scrote will make lots of noise getting into it. I would go for a wooden one and secure the bikes inside. If a shed is done up like Fort Knox, the scum think you have something worth nicking. Maybe fit a battery powered shed alarm.

I have 2 Quick Store Containers 4M x 2M that I use for storage

purchased from http://www.hiremasters.co.uk/storage2.htm

you can get them in all sizes (galvanised steel construction)

quite expensive but better than a wooden shed

also have a look at link below

There was a metal shed for sale at Costco last time I was there, looked good value at £300 IIRC??? If you're a member maybe take a look. Or was it plastic??? It was 12" x8" I think.
