Extending a Double Garage to a Triple

I am looking to move house and the new place I am interested currently has a double garage.

I am pretty sure that it could easily(ish) be extended to create a triple.

I assume that I need planning permission for this?

Also, has anyone got a view as to the cost of the extension?

So many variables, to be able to answer really. But every thing is possible.

Things to consider that will affect the price

has it got a pitched roof, type of tiles
drains along side
trees within 5m
stone built or bricks

You may get away with permitted development instead of full blown planning.

where abouts are you based?

Looking at your garage profile I'll come and build it in exchange for the Aston :-)
