Recomend me a Vacumm/Hoover
Discussion
Go to the recycling center and nab a few dysons and mix and match until you get one that works
I got one at the weekend from the recycling center, removed the pencil from the hose and it works perfectly
Its in better nick then the house hoover so its getting upgraded to upstairs hoover and upstairs hoover gets to replace the garage hoover which has finally died due to too much hoovering of the lath and milling machine
Dysons don't like swarf and cutting fluid

Henry is about £80-85 IIRC
Highly recommend it
I have never seen a machine take so much abuse and shrug it off. Excellent bit's of kit if you want something that will last.Highly recommend it

Preferably around the £60 mark although if someone can convince me that £250+ on a Dyson is really worth all that money you never know.
(although to be fair £250 for a hoover I would actually want it to walk itself around my house)
Sainsburys doing a deal on Dyson DC19 T2 for £139.99(although to be fair £250 for a hoover I would actually want it to walk itself around my house)

We got our Dyson cylinder from Sainsburys for about that price and it's brilliant. If they get too dusty inside then the motor will cut out and lots of people seem to assume that this spells disaster so dump the Dyson and complain about it. A simple strip-down and clean will restore it to full working order again. We've had ours two years and I've only stripped it once after hoovering up a bucketful of plaster/concrete dust after some DIY. Haven't had to replace any filters yet.If you buy a Dyson and it needs refurbishing then for about £60 (I think) you can send it back to Dyson and they'll completely overhaul it for you. That sounds like pretty good value to me.
Had a bagless Panasonic twin-cyclone thing before the Dyson and it was completely pathetic after a few months. It had three filters that blocked up very quickly.
To give an alternative to the 'Henry is unbeatable' stories, we used a Henry to clear up a village hall after a kids' party the other weekend and it was feeble even after installing a new bag. Presumably they have some sort of filter as well but we had no idea how to fix it. Henries aren't perfect.
The Henry is much loved by cleaning companies and builders as they are indestructible. But they don't clean carpet as well as a Dyson.
I'd try the Dyson spare parts 'bin' at your local 'Recycling centre' and build one. For £69, I think, Dyson will send someone round to fix it. You'll have lost the receipt, obviously...
