Squeaking tumble dryer.
Discussion
wouldnt say your car makes a squeak without telling us the make & model?
if its an oldey then suspect the jockey pully although these have generaly been made obsolete on most for the last 10 years or so since very tight stretch belts have been fitted. Usually they have plastic bearing pads at the front which my have worn down and a carbon bearing at the rear which again may have worn down allowing metal-metal contact with the drum shaft. May also have an earthing strip at the back or touching the drum somewhere which may need some lube or, if a sensing type drier, may have carbon or copper brushes contacting the drum which may squeak. Best is the get the top off and have a good listen. it wont be the belt, they spin too slowly to make squeak noises.
