Hello,

Today I'm having a large radiator fitted in my garage to keep my cars warm over the winter.

Does anyone have any links or addresses where I may find something like the above?

This is to stop any heat loss around or through my Up-and-Over door.

A colleague mentioned he had seen an advert fo something like this in a Classic Bike magagzine, but has not seen it since.

Thanks in advance Jim

Your local Buildbase will stock it!

Around £100 for a 10 metre long roll and its about 900mm wide.

You can buy a pack from places like B+Q. You get a thick reflective silver blanket with double sided tape and silver tape and a rubber draught excluder for underneath the door. You put lots of sections of double sided tape all over the door, cut the blanket to fit, stick it to the tape then go around all the joins with the silver tape. The draught excluder is in a metal batton that screws to the bottom of the door. When I did mine I also bought some "brush" type draught excluders for the lower half of each side as I had big gaps there too.

What a wonderful environment to promote rust if the cars are wet when they are put away.
