That's a palace compared to this one in Middlesbrough - http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/prope...

Only £9000. "Development opportunity" I don't think that'll be on Grand Designs though. hehe

Ps. It's not local to me though. Just typed "slum housing" in Google and found that biggrin

How much to make it something you wouldn't mind your dog sleeping in?

Just noticed that place in Middlesbrough is on "Cromwell Road". Wasn't that where Fred West lived? hehe

To be fair the one I put up, I know the area its not too bad its not as if your car is going to be vandalised you would feel safe walking to your house after work there are a LOT of these converted houses though probably too many thus the prices of £25 - £50k

Those projected rental figures are incredible, better margins than illegal drugs.

Agreed, Middlesbrough isn't the nicest of places but South Bank is something else!

Still, at least Rob Smedley managed to get out of it!

I dont know if this counts, and its rented, but outside the property is horrific.

I literally laughed out loud when I saw it advertised on the local paper.

Are they actually anywhere near achievable? I am not familiar with these grim northern towns... wink

£25k is chump change really, even if you could get £300pcm that would still be a pretty good return!

Find one close enough to a hospital or university/college then I guess you might.
