these 7 words were said to me as i entered my living room yesterday by my girlfriend, the wall is currently red and because of it i felt a ferrari was only fit for a red wall however i think she has researched and realised theres not many purple cars.

so PH does anyone know of any photo shoots of purple cars? (i think the diablo was available in purple) that i can get blown up and put on the wall.

Dulux Mulberry burst is the colour its going to be if anyones interested!

If you are struggling to find an image of a purple car that you like, you could choose an image of a car from the contrasting colour of mulberry instead, which would be green (have a look at a colour wheel). Then you could have something like this:

If you lived a bit closer you could have come on the PH South Coast one I organised

Purple is of course the best colour for cars (and some walls!). We have a PH'er with a purple Diablo, obviously a couple of us with 911 variants, some TVRs... it depends what car(s) you want on your wall?

In the not too distant future I'm hoping to hold the next purple car shoot, this time with a pro photographer and a few less 'not actually purple cars'! If I can get it sorted and the photographer and other owners are amenable, I wouldn't have a problem with sharing some of the photos.
